reliable Voice of the Airwaves columnist immediately reached Nwanwanii
and he reliably confirmed to Flex that Mr. Akpalo called him to inform
him that he would like him (Kofi) to help him as his vice during the
2016 general elections.
As to how Kofi received the news, he disclosed that it came as a shock to him since he never dreamt of venturing into politics. As to what prompted the IPP presidential candidate to choose him, Kofi hinted: “he said he believes I have charisma and can help him. He also believes with my large following on radio, TV and social media, I could help him win 2016 election and help with publicity.”
Asked whether he was planning of quitting radio for his new office, Kofi said that chances of him going into politics is very slim since he doesn't want to go into politics. But as to whether he is accepting the offer from Mr.Akpalo he said he is yet to decide that.
